The Mesa County Department of Human Services (MCDHS) staff gathered outside the Workforce Center this morning for a Memorial Day flag planting ceremony led by Veteran Services Officers Tony Lee and Laura Stanley.

Mesa County approved a $96,000 trail recovery agreement to support rehabilitation work in the Turner Gulch burn area following last year’s fire. The project will help restore recreational access and improve safety on damaged trails used for hiking, biking, horseback riding and off-highway vehicle recreation.

Blackstone Products is recalling certain Blackstone Parmesan Ranch seasoning products. This action follows California Dairies’ recall of dry milk powder, an ingredient used in the seasoning products.
